What's new in social.plus | October 2026
This month is about giving moderators the full picture and giving users more ways to express themselves. From a clearer view of moderation history to GIFs in comments and posts, here is what shipped in October.
Numeric Summary of User Moderation History

The User Moderation History tab now displays a numeric summary of a user’s moderation record, giving moderators a quick count of flag activity and past actions without manually scrolling through log entries.
GIF Support in Comments and Posts

Users can now comment and post with GIFs from any connected GIF provider. Moderators can review, remove, and filter GIF content from the Console.
We also added
- Per-Type Flag Status for User Reports: The SDK now returns flag status per report type, so apps can track which aspects of a user profile, such as bio or avatar, have already been reported.
- Sort Channel List by Last Message: Channels can now be sorted by when the last message was sent instead of other activities like membership changes.
- Dedicated Report Category for Child Safety Content: Users can now report child safety concerns under their own category including suspected CSAM
